The Finance Department is responsible for directing and reporting the major financial activities of the Town of Wiscasset.

Effective December 6, 2022 the Select Board adopted a policy requiring all outside agencies seeking town funding complete and furnish the town certain program and financial information. The polciy and application form is available here:

The State of Maine discontinued the issuance of drivers licenses at the Wiscasset Town Office however; any Maine licensed driver with an active license, motorcycle license and any holder of a Maine ID card may use online service to renew their license. Online Drivers License renewal
